First Week of Summer Homework

Welcome to summer!

You have 2 assignments for this week. Be sure to read them fully and document correctly.

1. Suggest a book on the summer reading blog post. The post just before this one is about summer reading. Pick a book you love, one you believe others should read, and follow the directions on that post.

2. Prepare a meal. Plan a nutritious meal and prepare it. It should include all food groups and be done independently. Comment on this blog post and tell us what you prepared. Have fun with it!

  3. I know a few people who have read this series called hollowland by Amanda Hawing. It is about a girl named Remy and she is trying to find her brother during the zombie apocalypse and she meets other people. If you like action/ adventure then this is really good!

  4. For the 2nd homework thingie... I made a meel for my family for dinner. It's called "potato soup" It's really good, my family loves it! It involves: potatos, carrots, celery, water, salt, pepper, butter, milk, onions, ect. It takes about 30min. to make and it takes 6 hours to cook. It's a pretty time consuming meel, but it's worth making considering how good it is! ;)
